About Meredith Resnick

Meredith Resnick M.Ed & MA, is a Learning Specialist and Educational Consultant working with children with learning disabilities and learning differences and difficulties (and their families and schools) to help them succeed. At the same time, she helps them redefine success on an individualized basis.

Meredith holds graduate degrees in both Regular and Special Education. Her experience as a classroom teacher, an educational administrator, a private tutor, an assessor, and an educational consultant in a variety of settings including schools, non-profits, educational businesses, and private practices have taught her that all children have the potential to succeed.

She thoroughly believes in the inclusion movement (when done right) and that education should maintain a balance between technology and “old-fashioned” techniques and approaches.

Meredith’s profession is inspired and informed by her experience as a mother of three wonderful kids (ages 8, 5, and 4) who teach her, guide her, keep her sleep deprived and make her feel special. Above all, they help her understand the “parent perspective” that is a crucial element as she provides consulting services in person in the NYC area and by phone and e-mail across the country.
