*This book was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review*

Honestly, I was a little unsure if I wanted to read this or not because I thought the title was dorky. However I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did because I loved this so much. This story is told from multiple points of view, not just Terric’s like the synopsis shows, and I loved every character. You really get a feel for why they do what they do, or why they think the way they think. There is a king who thinks he knows what’s best, a queen who has her own hidden agendas while also trying to take care of her family, one son who is training to become a great knight, another son who is destined to become a priest when he really longs to be a knight also, a daughter who thought she knew exactly what she wanted until someone surprising came into her life, another daughter who cares more about books than looks, the youngest child who is a spitfire who gets into a few things she probably shouldn’t have gotten into, and the outsider who went from riches to rags and is living day by day as a thief. Everyone has their own storyline going on but it’s so easy to go from one characters chapter to another characters chapter. It was so gripping and you want all the characters to get what they want and if they can’t or don’t you feel so bad for them. Lastly, the ending is such a surprise. I had no idea what was coming and was very shocked by it. I had a lot of fun and enjoyment reading this and I can’t wait till book two is released. It was overall a very enjoyable read.
