About Morgan Sheppard

Originally from the United Kingdom, Morgan Sheppard now resides in Germany, although she freely admits to having part of her heart left in Wales. Morgan is the author of the fantasy series, World of Wraidd Elfennol, and also the contemporary, women’s fiction novella, Disjointed Lives.

Whilst a writer mainly in the fantasy genre, Morgan is more than happy to share her love of reading amongst the many different genres out there, and can always be found with a book close by.

As well as reading and writing, Morgan spends her time looking after her family and trying to learn German. Unfortunately, a natural aptitude for languages doesn’t appear to be one of her strong points. However, stubbornness is, so she continues to persevere. So far, Morgan is confident enough to order a beer and a pretzel.

BOOK - Disjointed Lives

Author - Morgan Sheppard

My rating - 4.5 stars

Disjointed Lives centres on the character Ava. Ava goes through so much, she tells her story to her best friend Paige who she has recently reacquainted with.
Disjointed Lives is a fairly short read but certainly packs in a great deal.
Ava is portrayed as a strong woman who suffers at the hands of her emotionally abusive husband James.
We, as readers get to follow her story as she reveals all to Paige and we learn how she breaks free. Does she get to move on and find her happy ever after? You will just have to read it yourself to find out!
Morgan Sheppard has a great writing style that draws in her readers quickly. My first experience of her books and definitely won't be my last.
Definitely recommend

Absolutly fantastic read. I love the fact it brings into the light gas lighting and the damage an abusive relatioship can have, but also the posibility of turning your life around. I would highly recommend it
