About Jules River

Jules River was raised on a ranch in South Texas. She spent a decade in the Colorado Rockies, before moving back to her native Texas.
Her first novel Tres has been a wonderful learning experience. Jules has a series in the works about her beloved South Texas and the latest Oilfield boom, since it's something close to her heart, after growing up in the last boom in the 1970's and 80's.
Jules has many stories in the works about great men and the intelligent women that love them. With the unwavering support of her husband, family and friends writing has become her new passion.
When she is not writing or reading, she can be found taking care of her garden, horseback riding with her husband, or meeting up with family and friends over a good meal, drinks and stimulating conversation.
