It’s the year 2111 and life goes on as usual. People need to eat, breathe and make money. Alright, some things have changed over the years. All people are now multiracial. And there’s a teeny tiny problem - the atmosphere is not breathable, but humans always find a way around things, don’t they? In this case, by covering the entire city with airtight, plastic roofs. They also, as usual, break the law. In Smoke City, like in all cities, everyone is trying to stay afloat in all kinds of shady ways. Some steal mule robots, which transport black market diamonds and drugs. Some snatch food delivery drones right off the street. I mean, everyone loves curry, right? One man is a bit more ambitious. He plans to take over the whole city, by destroying the shields which keep the air clean. When his daughter accidentally finds out about his plans, her life becomes endangered. Upon discovering her father’s dark secret, her hidden talents become activated. She becomes a “traveler” and ancient powers are bestowed upon her. She can now move through space and time, feel other people’s emotions and bend matter using only her mind. Her powers don’t always obey her will, they work only when her life is in real danger. While trying to escape her father, she’ll have to learn to control her abilities, face her own demons, and travel outside the city, in the fumes of the deadly air. Fortunately, a tribe of renegades knows about her trouble and is willing to help her, but it will not be easy to protect her from her ruthless father, while the city needs to be saved from the poisonous atmosphere. She’s been trained to fight, but refuses to kill the man who threatens to destroy her. A daughter’s love is stronger than the will to survive, but she knows, a time will come, when she’ll have to choose between his life or hers.
