About Phil Pearl

After a successful career as a subsurface oil and gas well surveyor, mostly in the Middle East where I established a new office for Scientific Drilling Controls, I moved to the United States and began developing computer software.

Projects included an emergency call-out system for the Salt Lake International Airport and work on the FBI undercover sting, 'Operation Disconnect'.

In 2000 I decided to focus on Web development, and worked for corporations such as Microsoft and Wells Fargo bank. And then in 2017 I wrote the novel 'Killing Time'; about intrigue in the software industry, followed in 2018 by 'Cyber Insecurity' which is about Cyber Security and international politics.
