I disagree with the paid corporate shill who seems to be promoting all of this author's "books": It's not hard to put an entire story into a one-page book. In fact, it's the least effort anyone could put into a story to begin with, if one would be so generous to call this collection of pointless sentences a "story" at all. The author didn't even care to name his characters, let alone give them any kind of quality whatsoever.

What's especially sad is that I can see what he wanted to do with this. It's a pastiche of the short stories of the post-war period and the "plot" is basically Simon & Garfunkel's "Dangling Conversation", but fails at everything that made those great. Nothing happens, the characters' thoughts and actions make no sense and if the author's intention was to illustrate the dreariness and constant conflict of a loveless couple, then it failed even at that. Instead of dreary, the reader walks away with a resigned shrug, feeling nothing at all.

Hello, my name is Timothy Lasiter and I approve this book. It's hard to put an entire story into a one-page book. I love this effort and Rayburn did it again, great job, looking forward to more short stories.
