There was a great deal of work put into this book. I wish there were half stars because I would have preferred giving it 3.5. I didn't give it 4 stars (though perhaps it deserved it) because, for me, I found it too complex and also the fact that I am very much skeptical of what ancient relgious books tend to claim as much of it can no longer be confirmed. Suffise to say, that I think what the Author was saying was primarily that many of the different religions have a similar story/teachings. He also seems to say that resurrection can be interpreted as reincarnation and does not necessarily mean one resurrection (as today's Chrsitianity advocates) but many rebirths which I agree with. Also, I think he is saying that the ultimate answer lies within each of us and that I also believe.

I also picked up images of the teachers/angels and prophets perhaps as intelligent forms from another galaxy here to teach us. That of course is another angle and not within the scope of this book - at least I don't think so. The author does not suggest any interplay from other sources but still I belive that could be one of the missing jigsaw pieces.

If anything at all, the book will make you think.
