Cherry Moriones-Doromal is an integrated marketing communications professional with twenty-four years of combined management exposure and experience in local and international public relations, quad-media (radio-tv-print-online), marketing, publication, and advertising. She is also a musical composer, professional writer and editor. Among other prestigious business and scholarly titles, she previously assumed the positions of Editor of the Manila Bulletin Online —the oldest and well-esteemed newspaper in the Philippines, CEO of Earthwide Concepts Inc. of Las Vegas NV and Editor-In-Chief of the broadsheet The Phil Am Press of Daly City CA.
Cherry is currently a columnist and the entertainment editor of Republiq Magazine of Southern CA, USA. During her free time, her hobby is to stay in her home kitchen to make artisan products called "The Green Kitchen" gourmet products which she promotes online and are distributed nationwide through the Purple Kitchen Marketing Company which she owns. A portion of her online income goes to their family's chosen charity. Furthermore,to make this summer vacation 2018 more meaningful for her two sons, she had recently launched another charitable project entitled "Project Zach" which aims to sponsor art caravans to target communities.
As of this writing, aside from being a licensed educator specializing in English and Literature, with International Baccalaureate (IB), International Primary Curriculum (IPC), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), Multiple Intelligences (MI) and K-12 trainings, Cherry is also a doting mom to two brilliant sons who are both academic scholars at a prominent international school.
In college, as one of the few scholars of the City of Manila, Cherry had undergone almost two years of AB Psychology studies before she finished Bachelor of Mass Communication at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) or University of the City of Manila. As a duly elected student leader, she thrivingly represented the City in numerous local and international conferences. The author who is a lifelong learner also finished Bachelor of Laws and Master in Business Administration, and is pursuing Master of Educational Management.
Cherry’s passion in all of her undertakings did not remain unnoticed. Thus, for her years of active community leadership, ecclesiastical work, volunteerism, and social entrepreneurship, Cherry received various awards and recognitions from the local government, the Philippine National Police and NGOs. She was also granted an honorary degree Doctorate of Strategic Missions at International Communicators Open University by Evangelical Bishops in the University of the Philippines.
