I thoroughly enjoyed this short beginning to what promises to be a great series.

We view the entire story from the perspective of several different people who come together during the episode hoping to stay alive and unharmed using the power of numbers..knowing nothing about each other. Discovering that all but one of their number seems to have been plagued all their lives with a recurring dream foretelling the events that have been suddenly set in motion that very day draws us into the need to move out of the dubious safety of a building and onto the road to see if more people have survived and why the catastrophe happened at all. This first episode ends leaving us with even more questions about what is happening and a need to have the next episode...

The whole premise of this e-Book seems preposterous.

I was hooked from the first chapter. I didn't mind the crazyness in this book that's what keeps the excitement. It makes me wonder what's go happen next and then I'll get the understanding of why that happened before. People wake to find their family, friends and neighbors completely gone. With a man in New York looking for his wife and son. A woman wakes to just her teenager daughter and a few men neighbors around. To a teenage boy with his sexually hormones, a serial killer out on the hunt when he can't find hunt. A man that survived a plane crash while being arrested to be transport to Washington. Lets not forget the little eight year old boy that just so happen to see things that I feel just can't be real. But whose to say it isn't. So I purchased the other seasons so I can continue this weird and crazy story. Enjoyable read...finished in a hour....

Hooked from the start. This book is really good, the characters are interesting and you will want to know what happens to them. It was not what I expected, but unexpected events turned out to be good. This is a series so there is a cliffhanger ending.

I loved this book, it's not just the normal survival story, there are things other than human running around out there...a real page turner.

Just finished Episode 1 and am half way through Episode 2, all I can say is, I can't wait for the 3rd one. Great take on the EOTWAWKI, great character development and the story moves right along. I'd gladly pay to continue reading this adventure and to see where it takes me.

A few glitches, typos and grammatical errors, but they can easily be overlooked.
