Review by: M.P.Knox on Nov. 2, 2014 :
This book surveys the roles of dads and what they mean to relatives and friends of celebrities and everyday people. It collects a wide range of viewpoints that will help the bereaved and people acquiring new father figures to understand the many ways dads can affect people's lives. The author records memories of her cherished father and what she lost when, tragically, he died.
Donna Stafford-Munro has an engaging writing style that shows new perspectives of familiar scenes. Her language is warm, with a playful sense of humour.
For anyone who has lost a dad, missed a dad, or simply wants to acknowledge a dad, this book would be a wonderful gift.
