About Avery J. Moon

Avery J. Moon began life as a straight-laced, extremely shy girl. Well, actually, she began life as a baby and grew into a straight-laced, extremely shy girl.

Things changed a bit when she hit High School, because that's when she discovered the wonderful world of romance novels. From that very first book, she was hooked. Of course she had her favorites-- the ones that made her heart race and brought color to her cheeks.

Who would have ever believed that the shy little girl she once was would grow up to write hot and steamy erotic scenes in her very own romance books?

I’ve often heard that twins have a special bond that no other siblings have, so I’m not surprised that Colin knew when his sister died. All about Zane was a good read, albeit with some typos and a few POV issues. Putting that aside the story had merit. Murder, kidnapping, deception, hate, family strife – what’s better than all of that combined into one story?

Moon did a good job of capturing my attention, especially during the opening trial. I won’t spoil it for those who want to read the book, but I will say it got me angry, so angry I wanted to reach through the pages and strangle the person involved. After that scene, I just had to continue reading. I needed to know not only if justice was served, but how it all came down. The mystery of how and why Becca, Colin’s twin sister, died had gone cold while Colin was away. Upon his return, he had to reignite the need to complete the investigation and put his sister’s life to rest.

I write Mystery/Romance and know that writing mystery can be quite complex. Where to begin. How much to divulge at what stages throughout the book. Making sure there is enough story and plot to keep the reader’s interest. Moon did all of that well, giving me a good feeling when I finished the book and shut my Kindle. I read a lot of books, some really good and others not so much. I gave All About Zane 3.5 stars because the book was not thoroughly edited and it could have had a bit more character backstory and development.
