What would you do if your livelihood was being taken away? Defend against or accept the outcome? One group of workers decide to protect their future. More
“They would be grateful if Border City Stamping no longer existed.”
Reece Kincaid, a union negotiator, seeks a fair agreement for the workers unaware of the secret pact of the company. David Bainbridge, the company negotiator, uses bribery, deceit and manipulation in the attempt to ‘divide and conquer’ the union. He convinces the union executive to reverse their stance on a divisive contract offer.
When a conflict of interest arises, Reece must choose between professional duty or personal commitment. Reece speaks out against the tentative agreement at the ratification meeting, inadvertently fulfilling the goal of the management team of getting the membership to reject a contract so they can proceed to close the auto parts supplier. Reece feels responsible for the fate of the people he represents and is at odds what to do. When all else fails, a past union tactic is revived.... A Wildcat.
