Drabble (100-word stories) are fun to write, hard to master. Deb Whittam's collection includes a variety of themes and forms. Two standouts are "Judgement" and "Offense".
Many of the pieces are not fully developed--there is no beginning, middle, and end, and should be considered story starters rather than Drabble, but they are still enjoyable to read.
It is hard to group 100-words poetry as Drabble, so the collection is half-Drabble / half-poetry. Of the poetry collection, "Play" was perhaps the most-well written.
Another trip to the editor would have done wonders for the collection, but nothing major deterred from understanding the piece.
