Also my first in the genre. Just want to say I was a blubbering mess by the end. So need to get the next book and find out if they get to be together. Also anxious to know how they are going to change the politics of their "Utopian society". Sweet and innocent enough that want to share with my 13 year old daughter.

This is a very powerful story of two young women trying to balance their love for each other against doing what is right.

Great scifi!! Describes the stiffling effects of a totalitarian society. Terrific story - can't wait for the sequel.
