2098. Decades after the ecological catastrophes that left the world scarce of food and energy. After the global upheaval and civil wars. The human race survives, but under a one-world Republic and a computer program known as the I-sphere, which all of humanity depends on for survival. Shane Carson, a soldier for the Republic, finds himself questioning his reality as images visit him from a life he did not live. As Shane's life's turned over, he journeys to find the truth about his life, about the system that the world lives in ... and a war waiting to rise across the new world.

The premise is good, and there are some good ideas. However, overall it's let down by a lack of editing and proof reading as well as some seriously implausible time frames.

This is a genuinely entertaining, fast-paced, interesting read. I would recommend this to fans of cyberpunk/sci-fi/dystopian novels as well as fans of good novels in general.
