A victim of clergy sex abuse himself, E. Brian Walsh is a member of two internationally recognized advocacy organizations working with survivors of clergy abuse, Survivor’s Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) and Australian-based The Global Alliance. Walsh is a self-published non-fiction writer and songwriter based in New England. Much like the protagonist, he was a rising star at Regis High School, the elite Jesuit prep school in New York City. He is a student of eastern philosophy.
A former journalist published in The Tennessean, The New York Times, USA Today, and internationally, Maura Satchell dabbles in screenwriting, two-dimensional visual art, and international trade. As Brian's sister, Maura also received a Catholic School education.
