Patrick Reinken is the author of Glass House, Omicron, and The Guardian's Deceit. He also wrote Judgment Day, which Publishers Weekly described as "a nearly seamless medical/legal chiller that's one slick piece of work." Judgment Day was published by Simon & Schuster and, in Japan, by Hayakawa Publishing.
He is the Director of Legal Affairs for the National Marrow Donor Program in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This was an enjoyable thriller, whose action criscrossed the globe from its first pages. Reinken's style is very distinctive, including detailed descriptions of locations and more-or-less-relevant facts, along with a fast-changing cast of characters, many of whom are introduced only to be brutally disposed of or - in a manner common enough in real life, but which I've seldom seen in fiction - just in time to play a major role changing the course of the drama. Throughout this, a small number of more central characters pick their way. In 'Omicron' the eponymous character is a sleeper agent, suddenly (and reluctantly) activated to step in when many of his colleagues are compromised and killed.

Great story line--Great presentation
If you are a reader of Clancy, Flynn, Silva, or Thor you will love this story, the author will keep you digging for the answer to the last chapter you have read. Describes locations in Europe like Silva, you will feel like you have been there. Action like Flynn and Thor but not a super hero, just a patriot doing a job trained to do. Reminds me of the early Clancy style.
I patiently wait for releases from one of the above authors and I hope Mr. Reinken will continue these characters or new ones in another I CAN'T PUT IT DOWN STORY!!
