About Nirmala

Who are you really? Are you your body. mind and personality? Or are you the spacious awareness in which they appear? Questions like these point us to the infinite Presence that is the true source of peace, happiness and fulfillment. They are an opportunity to discover that the peace and happiness you have been seeking is already present, here and now.

About Nirmala:

After a lifetime of spiritual seeking, Nirmala met his teacher, Neelam. She convinced Nirmala that seeking wasn’t necessary since everything is already here within us; and after experiencing a profound spiritual awakening in India, he began offering satsangs (gatherings for inquiring into the truth) and individual spiritual mentoring with Neelam’s blessing. Nirmala offers a unique vision and a gentle, compassionate approach, which adds to the rich tradition of inquiry into the truth of Being. He is also the author of several books including Nothing Personal: Seeing Beyond the Illusion of a Separate Self. He has been offering satsang throughout the United States and Canada since 1998. Nirmala lives in Sedona, Arizona with his wife, Gina Lake.

I genuinely benefitted from the material in this book. I found the exercises both useful and effective when practiced. I appreciated Nirmala’s attention to detail as well as insights into the wisdom of trusting your own heart. I’d recommend this book with no reservation for anyone seeking to learn more about the wisdom of trusting your own heart to guide life decisions along with how to give love and space to difficult things.

I really benefited from reading this book. I have read other books by Nirmala and his wife, Gina Lake. Both are excellent authors. I find Living from the Heart to be especially good in that it is easily understood, gets to the point of a practice that, if followed, will certainly bring us closer to peace, closer to our True self. I can get out there with all kinds of esoteric practices and principles and this book helped bring my awareness right back here, where it is of most benefit to me and my growth.

Nirmala has a way of writing very clearly about a subject that is rarely mentioned in spiritual circles: the role of intuition, guidance, and "gut feel". It's easy to find platitudes, but this kind of road map of the finer points is rare. Invaluable for those who find themselves dealing with these issues in order to keep yourselves on track.

If you are looking for a novel to take you on a spiritual journey then click buy now. If you are not interested in exploring faith then keep browsing. The author does a great job of communicating the importance of faith and the need of humans to explore all aspects of such. I would recommend this as a good read for all to get a bit of understanding.

This book would benefit every human on this planet! Most people cannot figure out why they never achieve true happiness. Well like Eckhart Tolle teaches, its because of over identification with our minds. Well then what are we, and where should our awareness flow from? This book explains. It should flow in a balanced way from our Hearts, mind and sacral region. The Indians, Mayans and many others knew this, so can we now!! NAMASTE
