About Helen Harvey

I am a registered BACP therapist working with children & adolescents in private practice. My training is a degree in Person Centred Therapy and a postgraduate qualification in cognitive behavioural therapy. I work with children post adoption and I am embarking on my Masters in psychological trauma in October 2018

My interests within my work are developmental trauma in children. I also have a special interest in adolescent boundaries within relationships and friendships.

I have two children. One a teenager and one aged 10, my 10 year old has additional needs and so requires greater focus on being attuned. I write a blog on parenting teenagers and teenage mental health. I also present talks on challenge and resilience in teenagers.
