Review by: Yura Estrin on July 12, 2018 :
“Deprived of parental love and endearment, and with no possessions since childhood, Arsy was used to taking other people’s stuff, no matter who or what that was. When he wanted to lay hands on something, neither the status nor the power of the owner could stop him.”

Arsy is known as a criminal and a thief. When he steals from his own best friend, Erathos, that friend turns upon him to become his mortal enemy. Erathos has vowed to kill Arsy. Arsy knows with Erathos training in cathastu, a form of martial arts, he doesn’t stand a chance against his former friend and somehow must learn cathastu. However, the ancient martial art is not taught to anyone outside of the mercenaries, but Arsy is determined even if he must pay his way…

Ervin writes with a vivid and enchanting imagination that creates a romantic, fantasy that is a fairy tale, dreamland page-turner that just can’t be put down. Rich with romance, an enchanting kingdom in the air, a princess, Nihena – a powerful woman trained in martial arts (a force to be reckoned with), battling enemies and wonderful adventures. Vivid characters make this amazing story really come alive. I loved the flashback sequences between Arsy, Erathos and the woman Arsy loves, princess Parelia. The pictures are absolutely breathtakingly beautiful that the reader will not want to miss. I didn’t want this story to end and can’t wait for more adventures to come. This is an exceptional romantic, fantasy novel that readers will become lost in.
