About Jd Field

I love travelling (especially in Eastern Europe, Ukraine and Romania). I believe that Dawsons Creek is deeply underated. If it was allowed I would eat bacon three times a day.
I like to invent silly dances and embarrass my friends. Basketball is good, as are whales.
If any of this needs clarification, please ask.

This is such a fun and exciting story!I LOVED Eddy Moon- he made the entire book worth reading!
My (very small) complaint is that once the "big secret" of the main characters' backgrounds was revealed, the story seemed to move too quickly. And I would have liked to see Madeleine become even more empowered by the end. Too much reliance on the big, strong guys is kind of a pet peeve of mine.
Besides that, this is one of the most readable ebooks I've found. Eddy is hot, the story is very original, and I never once felt bored while I was reading. Oh, did I mention that Eddy is hot??? :)
Can't wait to read the sequel!

Couldn't put it down from the start, and it became my reading material for the train to work, so engrossed, I almost missed my stop, twice! With great characters, and up-to-date references, it really has a great contemporary feeling. Looking forward to part 2, the train journeys have become boring again!

As a teacher, I'm always looking out for fiction with exciting plots and thick descriptive features that will inspire my students. J.D Field's fantastic book really creates a world within a world that you can't help but to get sucked into. When he adds a fine selection of quirky yet believable characters that you are able to identify with you know you are onto a winner. The pace is quick and this author drip (rather than spoon) feeds the plot, thus giving the reader time to imagine what may happen in this old fashioned school environment. The wonderful mix of our independent, unconventional and strong minded heroine within this stuffy and traditional setting makes for an excellent read. Part 2 asap please - my students are waiting.

This is a wonderful read to wake to! The characters are credible to the point of making you wonder whether you actually knew them a long time ago, during your own magic, clumsy and adventure thirsty school years. The well carried plot and the witty writing make Song To Wake To an absolute page turner.

Lucky for me I read this a day before the 2nd installment would be out. I loved it! Love the characters..Maddy is funny, headstrong with just the right amount of attitude and persistence in getting what she wants.haha And of course there's Eddy Moon, the "ugly duckling". JD Fields sure knows how to leave readers wanting more!

This book had a nice mix of action and romance, and a main character that you find yourself rooting for. Eddy Moon is swoon worthy and the story is refreshing. So glad I downloaded!!!

If you like action in your YA romance, then this is for you. This book has a really interesting new take on a famous British legend and a smart and resourceful heroine. Very impressive, and I'm certainly looking forward to getting my hands on Part 2!

JDField has me hooked, and I can’t wait for the next instalment. Song to Wake to is refreshingly original in a genre of sameness. The plot…well I won’t spoil it…takes on the most unexpected twist, but ticks all the YA romantic boxes. Forget Edward Cullen, Jace Weyland and even Daniel Grigori, because there’s a new brooding male in town, and his name is Eddy Moon.
