Richard Underwood is an author of software manuals, and other genres including religion and philosophy.

He is currently conducting research into various DEFINITIONS OF LIFE and the DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ANIMATE AND INANIMATE OBJECTS, a cross-subject research project including physics, biology, philosophy and religion. He would welcome contact from anyone who has undertaken post-graduate research on any area relevant to his research.

Prior to reaching retirement age Richard designed hundreds of websites, and has been consulted on the creation and design of several e'commerce sites, and in the creation and design of several commercial games and apps.
In his earlier working life Richard spent twenty years as an ordained minister of religion working for the Salvation Army and the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen. After leaving the ministry he worked for several years as a staff counsellor for West Yorkshire Ambulance Service, and as the Chief Executive of a small national counselling charity in the UK.
Richard has retired but continues his research and continues writing.
