The Zombie Chronicles: Outbreak

Rated 3.80/5 based on 5 reviews
It was the start of another ordinary day at the office for Max, he was emailing a friend when one of his other early morning co-workers called for his help, someone was having a heart attack. Rushing to the aid of his fallen co-worker Max knew one thing, it wasn't a heart attack. Heart attack victims didn't bleed and didn't start chewing on anyone they could catch either.

About Mark Clodi

Mark Clodi (born March 30th, 1969) is the author of many zombie apocalypse novels and short stories. At an early age Mark was hooked on fantasy and the pulp fiction of the 'Golden Age of Science Fiction'. While moving around the mid-west with his parents he continued to feed his frenzied reading by buying fiction at yard sales and utilizing the local libraries. The thought of actually becoming a writer struck him at an early age, but he never followed through on his dream until he was much older and well established in his chosen career as a computer programmer. His writing started one day while trading emails back and forth with Mike Keleman, the co-author of his first book. They started assigning chapter numbers to the emails and the rest, as they say, is history.
He lives in a small town smack-dab in the middle of Iowa (U.S.A.) tinkering with story ideas, knocking back the occasional rum and pondering his life choices.

I couldn't even finish the book.. the spelling and grammar errors were too much to handle. It was like a pre-teen wrote this book, one without ever going to English class.

Exactly the good old fashioned zombie gore and tales that I like in my undead novels! It has a different spin on it as the Zombies are thinkers so who knows where the series can go! Love it, story line keeps me wanting more! And I'm looking forward to reading all the other books related to the series! It's hard to find quality zombie "novels". Lots of short stories...so thanks, Mark!

I enjoyed this story a lot and it kept my attention all the way to the end. I look forward to reading the other books in the series. Oh... Interesting spin on the zombies....

Formatting - I liked how the book rendered on my Sony reader - font was not microscopic, and the margins were small - resulting in great utilization of the reader's screen..

A very enjoyable read. Whilst the quality of writing sometimes leaves a little to be desired, that is more than made up for the by interesting Zombie world he has created. Well worth the effort.
