Fred Andersen is the author of novels, non-fiction, stories and articles (and poetry, but we don't talk about that).
"A Line in the Sand" due out 9-24-18 is a contemporary thriller rooted in the violence associated with drug cartels. and in biographies of drug enforcement agents and members of organized crime families.
Fred is also the author of "Lily Torrence," a classic Hollywood murder mystery set in the 1940s that deals with the sexual repression and hypocrisy of that era, and with the mundane problems of allegedly glamorous and creative movie people. A sequel to "Lily," working title "Pamela Carter" is in the works for release in the Fall of 2019.
Fred lives in Phoenix with his wife and family, but every summer contemplates moving to Lake Kookanusa, Montana, or some such place
