Werewolves are awesome and resourceful. I seriously don't think Willow Cross can write a bad book. Grab you at the first and keep you going all the way through the book.

This book was a great read. I'm looking forward to the next one. The only thing I hated was the cliffhanger at the end. But then again cliffhangers make me want to get that next book. Keep writing these great series.

This book was gifted to me and it was nothing short of amazing! Willow Cross' ability to meld different characters into to her books just wows me. Inheritance started out being NOTHING like Birthright this book revolved around Werewolves and had a whole new set of characters Sarah is the bullheaded younger sister that won't let her older brother Jason boss her around she wants to do things HER way whether he likes it or not. In the beginning Sarah thinks Jason is completely lost his marbles when he starts to build a cage in the basement because he swears something is happening to him at night. After one night in the basement with her brother going through his "change" their whole lives begin to change. Sarah and Jason find out that there are people who will go to extreme lengths to see that they are killed there are also some love interests as well as other things that go bump in the night. Liz and Micheal also return as well as the soon to be war between the Vampires. I am super stoked to read the next in this series. I am having a real hard time at the end of each book because I do NOT want them to end. Each book has been getting better and better. I highly in courage everyone that enjoys paranormal to pick this series up. Willow has done a great job in writing these books from her walking you through all the intricate details of characters and how they all intertwine in friendships or foes. And the fight scenes are explained in detail with nothing left out. I'm hooked :-) Happy reading!

The Dark Gifts Inheritance by Willow Cross

After Jason turned 21 he thought he was losing his mind. During the three full nights of the full moon strange things were happening to him and he had no memory of what he did. He was terrified at the thought of what could be happening to him. His sister, Sara was beginning to think he needed a shrink as well. That is until the horrifying events of the last few months stopped her. Why was Jason building a huge cage in the basement of their home. When Sarah finds out her life changes forever because she is unsure if what is happening to her brother is going to happen to her. Jason and Sara, having grown up with no family are to find out that their real family isn’t even fully human. They are unprepared for the events that start developing and they have to learn quickly. Befriended by those that hunt them down they learn the true meaning of who they are and with the help of a mysterious man in the forest they find out who they are meant to be.
This story held my interest from start to finish. The characters show their feelings and frustrations as they deal with the problems of taking back a werewolf clan while trying to help save the world from something so dark and frightening that they will need their Dark Gifts Inheritance.

Willow Cross has out done herself again! I fell in love with the characters! Willow Cross is a genius when she writes!

The Dark Gifts Inheritance is the second book in the series, and I thought book one was amazing, book 2 just amazed me even more. She went from witches and vampires in one book to werewolves in another. I see them all being combined soon! And all that paranormal romance is just wow!

I can not wait to read book 3 in this amazing series! Because now I am hooked on "The Dark Gifts" the story, and the romance.

Sarah and Jason are brother and sister that have been thru the foster care system after their parents passed away. Their aunt had left them a home with many secrets from their past they were unaware of. Jason has noticed a change in himself that scares him and wants Sarah in on it so he can find out what is happening. He’s changing into something he knows nothing about. They stumble across something in the attic that tells them they own another house and go to check it out. They meet their Aunt Shana who is a Seer. Danger creeps around them as things don’t seem so safe for them with her. They discover they both will be werewolves eventually but Jason has already started the change. Is their family there to now help them learn the ways or are they out to destroy them? What new creatures will they meet along the way? This is an edge of the seat excitement as Ms. Cross brings out the characters in her book to a new world. There has to be a sequel to this and I can’t wait for it to come out.

The Dark Gifts Birthright by Willow Cross. Review by Wanda Hart

In the beginning Liz meets with Michael. He bites, she turns vamp. Quite Bram Stoker like for three or four pages.
They meet up and fall immediately irreparably in love. Quite Twilight like for the next 15 or so pages.
Then the good the bad and the ugly rears their ugly little heads and from here on out its different to any Paranormal / YA / or New Adult book I've ever read. Minerva, Gregoria, Jenna and about 60 other characters join the cast to make this book totally amazing.
I was struck with the amount of research that must have gone into writing this book.
For those of you who follow my reviews you will know that I refrain from making technical judgements.
This will be the exception.
Willow has a rare ability for pacing and introducing an array of characters in rapid succession. But never does she use this fast level of pacing and her cliff hanger chapter endings to get out of character development. By the time you are finished with the book you really hate the bad guys and absolutely love the good guys.
By this time you also know that I don't rehash the story of the book in a brief synopsis. Usually I don't since I feel that the authors blurb or my own will get the reader of this review a good idea of what the book is about in essence. In this case I can't do it at all even if I wanted to.
Her fast pace, introduction of evil and saint like characters left me feeling like a child playing hide and seek. You don't want to be found out but you can't resist peeking from your hiding place to try and see what is coming next.
For those romantics out in cyber land - do not fear. This book is filled with romance and not only the romance between Michael and Liz bit also some other less predictable characters.

As I read the book I was filled with the idea that this book is a ken to watching a master Persian carpet weaver undertake another master peace.

I loved the fact that almost all things known to go bump in the night were mentioned in this story and that the symbiotic and discordant life styles of these dark creatures were explained logically and believably.

I give this book a 6 out of 5 star review. I will not only recommend you buy it and read it yourself, I would proudly gift it to my friends. Oh no wait. I already gifted it to my friends. That's simply how good this book is. I can't wait to start on the rest of the books authored by her.

I need to thank Denise Jones for correcting my spelling and grammar errors and for translating South African English to real English. Thank you Denise.....
