Paul Briandi was a soldier in the Magaddino crime family syndicate. The Magaddinos were heavily involved in gambling and narcotics trafficking. Before reaching age 30 Briandi was a trafficker of young women in a white slavery ring that operated in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls-Lackawanna area in 1935.
