About Emily Martha Sorensen

Books were my first love and best friends growing up, which I did in five states and four countries. My love of storytelling has never waned, and I've always wanted to write -- and share -- my own stories.

I love fantasy, especially fairy tale retellings, fascinating magic systems, humor, and clean paranormal romance. I like science fiction too, but the more magic in a story, the more pleased I'm likely to be.

I have two comics, the first of them complete, the second ongoing. I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, crafts, editing, and I occasionally play videogames.

Fairies and a couple of teasers

An interesting read, it starts with some kids playing “Tag”, one can t see fairies, but can touch and feel them.

They figured out a way that she could play too. It worked for a bit but then it had to be modified because of a head on collision.

It s nice to know that fairies can have fun with kids just by riding on their heads during games like “Tag”.

The next is one of the teasers about a pair of glasses apparently given to the “fairy blind little girl” by the fairies, but we have to buy the rest of the story to find out what the rest of the story is.

{And on to the final teaser: The Egg! which has a somewhat abbreviated teaser that you d think that having a scrambled dragon s egg might actually taste good. I ll delete this part of the review and post what s on the other side of the parentheses}

The last teaser is the first book of the Dragon s Egg series:

“The egg knows what he wants.  He wants Rose and a stranger, Henry, to be his new parents.  But can three strangers of two different species become a family?”
