About James MacArthur

Hi, I'm 29 years old and i've been writing for nearly 10 years and i've enjoyed modest success.
My stories focus on the darker side of fiction with the protaganist in my novel being a semi retired mob enforcer, who thinks nothing of using torture as a means to an end.
Some of my short stories are lighter, having a humourous approach to them.
I would like to end this profile by saying thanks for taking to time to read it and that I hope you take the time to read my stories.

I don't know how or why author's places their work in two separate categories, one of which is definitely wrong. In this case HORROR is correct and MYSTERY & DETECTIVE is a deception. I downloaded it from Mystery & Detective and wasted my time; luckily it was extremely short. There is no detective or mystery in the plot. In the story a ghoulish character seduces a young woman over the internet and then, literally, cuts out her heart while a companion films the gory mess. Editing is poor; past and present tense are confused with the use of had and has in the same sentence. For me it's a 1.0
