Fr. Canice Chukwuemeka Njoku, C.S.Sp. is a Catholic Priest and a member of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, popularly known as the Spiritans. He has been a missionary in Puerto Rico, the island of enchantment since 2014.
Initially, he studied and practiced food, science, and technology (FST) before responding to the call to religious life in 2003. In addition to his qualification in FST, he has a diploma in Philosophy; BA in religion and cultural studies—University of Nigeria Nsukka; MA in Divinity—SIST Enugu and Duquesne University Pennsylvania, USA; MA in biblical theology—John Paul the Great Catholic University, Escondido, California; diploma in Computer Studies (FCET, Akoka Lagos).
Currently, Fr. Canice is working with the Spiritan International Group of Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic where he is the Chancellor of the Dioceses of Fajardo-Humacao, as well as the Parish Administrator of Parroquia la Resurrección del Señor, Canóvanas, Puerto Rico. He has a great flare for writing, reading, and sports.
He is the author of the following publications: God’s Word from My Heart to My Lips—Homilies for Sundays and Solemnities, Year C; La Palabra de Dios desde mi Corazón a mis Labios—Homilias para los Domingos y Solemnidades, Año C; The Divine Sonship of Christ and the Totus Christi (The Whole Body of Christ), Peace upon our Troubled World, and Important themes in Biblical Theology.
