This book was so well written that it reminded me of my past experiences and it intrigued me so much that I had completed it in less than a couple of days.
Growing up as the youngest, I watched my sister be blamed for everything. I watched her get hit by my mother (she didn’t know any better, she was brought up that way & we moved to a country we didn’t really understand) and as soon as I stepped in to defend my sister it turned on me, especially growing up in a religious family and not understanding why things were the way they were but still had to live by it. I struggled with school & making friends and I was always bullied and called names. This book has shown me that I wasn’t alone out there and that is so comforting to know that someone else understands it.
In my honest opinion I loved reading this book! I loved the way it was written and how cute the main character was, the way he spoke and the way he went on about whiskey (who was my favourite!), not only was there a lot of emotion in this book but there was so much cuteness! Least to say I had so much fun reading this book & I 100% recommended! Eager for more to come!
