Willow's life hasn't been easy. She's autistic and the only way she gets to interact with anyone is by logging in to the BASE platform and play videogames with her close friends. Only, there are rumours going around that some people who get the beta invite for a game are going missing. It’s just a rumour, until her best friend Violet wins one of the beta keys and disappears. Reviews of BASE Status: Online: An Unlikely Hero's LitRPG / GameLit Journey by E. Engberts

Not a bad story overall. It's a rather basic tale, but it's interesting, and while predictable in places, it's still interesting enough to hold the attention, and best of all, it sports a disabled player as the main character. I realize LitRPG likes to do this, and that's great, but this is the first time I've seen a character with the issues this one has, great to see such matters handled fairly well. I can easily recommend this one to the LitRPG crowd. It won't be a fantastic tale, to be sure, but I'd wager most folks will like it well enough.

As a mother of an autistic child, this story caught my attention. It was more than just that story, it was an exciting story that was compelling, so difficult to put down. A wonderful story.
