Terri L. Lyon has a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. A licensed Psychologist, her career experience includes government, Fortune 500 manufacturing, and education.
Her activism focus is primarily on animals and the environment. Factory farming of animals is terrible in so many ways, and by encouraging plant-based diets, she hopes to end animal cruelty and create a healthier Earth.
Terri is also a consumer activist. She is treasurer of a federal credit union, where members can get financial services without having to support shareholders. She also supports dispute resolution as a professional arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau.
Her family includes her husband, two sons, and many rescue animals. They live in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
