Once started, one cannot stop until the plot finally unfolds in an unforeseen way. Great description of Shark Bay scenery and an epic kayak trip. Enthralling characters, all in all an excellent read.

This is a really great story but what I particularly like is the way the author has woven deep science and philosophy into a thriller as the most casual conversation with the reader. Its a very exciting read yet deeply knowledgeable as well. Plus I think there are elements of actual events in this because Shark Bay does have a history of smuggling and crime due to its remoteness.

What a thriller! This book captured me entirely. Kayaking along the coast of an magnificent island provides a perfect setting to really get to know the characters. Wonderful to become immerced in the trip as the days slipped along and the mystery kept building until I was anxious to find out who done it! A great read.

I love kayaking at Monkey Mia and Shark Bay in Western Australia - and this book captures the beauty and isolation of this World Heritage Area along with a great adventure thriller involving drugs, smuggling, sand dunes and love. A truly Aussie book.
