About Kyle Michel Sullivan

I am a writer and self-involved artist out to change the world until it changes me...as has already happened in far too many ways.

I have written books that range from sunshine and light (David Martin) to cold and dark (How To Rape A Straight Guy, which has been banned a couple of times) to flat out crazy (The Lyons' Den) to mainstream (The Alice '65). I have ventured into SF-Horror-Suspense with The Beast in the Nothing Room and taken Capitalism to its logical extreme in Hunter. I've also written murder mysteries (Rape in Holding Cell 6, The Vanishing of Owen Taylor, and Underground Guy). I've just begun a gay vampire series titled Blood Angel, that will be in seven e-book parts. All contain strong romantic entanglements.

Currently, I am working to complete A Place of Safety, my Irish novel.

I try to build characters as vivid and real as possible and have a lot of fun doing it mixed with angst, anger, and amazement ... but that's the lot of a writer.

My paperbacks and hardcovers are available through Amazon, B&N and any independent book shop.

It’s not what I expected but I’m so glad it wasn’t. I love a book that keeps me guessing and every time I thought I had it figured out there was another curveball. Although there were a lot of sick and twisted parts to the story it didn’t feel dark. The ending was what I had hoped for but did expect it. I wish there was an epilogue but the ending was satisfying enough.

It is supposed to be one of the darkest books that the author has ever written. However, after reading it, I feel surprisingly, happy and uplifted.
The story starts as a heinous crime and is certainly on its way to become a tragedy. Somehow, a ray of tenderness and kindness shines through the darkest and deepest corner in the heart of the protagonist. Instead of being his destroyer, the protagonist turns into his protector, and in return, he saves his humanity. It is really a story of "love trumps hate". It is just amazing to see something so horrible can morphed into something so beautiful in the end as long as you give up hate and let love and forgiveness take charge of your heart. It is never too late.
Besides, as a erotica/thriller fiction, the story has all the right ingredients and right amount: a riveting story line, hot sex scenes including some NC scenes to the bad guy (can't emphasize enough and should never ever be condoned in real life in any case). what more do you want?!
