ASHOK KUMAR SINHA :
• Born 09.09.1945. 1961- 1966, educated at Patna University, Patna: B.A. (Honours in English), M.A. English (Gold Medalist), Ph.D. (Pat),
• Diploma in English Studies (Wales, U.K.)
• Was awarded 1'College Colour", (University Monogram", "Principal's Gold Medal'', "Sir Raja Raghunandan Gold Medal", and the "University Gold Medal" by the Patna University in 1966-1967.
• Received the Merit Scholarship (1964-66) from tbe Patna University.
• British Council scholar in U.K. (1973-74)
TEACHING EXPERIENCE :
• Lecturer in English, Patna University 1966-80; Reader in English (1980-85); Professor of English, Patna University 1985-90;
• 1993 - the present Professor of English, Faculty of Education, Hodeidah University, Republic of Yemen. (1978-1985 on deputation worked as Assistant Professor of English, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia).
