George "Blah Blah" Smurra Genovese Family Soldier

George "Blah Blah" Smurra was an enforcer and hit man for the Genovese crime syndicate. As late as 1972 his name appears in a New York Magazine article of prominent members of the Genovese organization. Smurra began his life in crime in 1928. His rap sheet included arrests for burglary, felonious assault, assault, robbery and murder. He originally worked for Genovese capo Rocco Pellegrino. More
