Main character is a mildly autistic detective who nearly missed the thief because he is also mildly autistic. This takes place in an empire that should be familiar to all, I have a version of it also. It's heavily biased toward the rich and powerful. The setting is not really very important to the story, just noted that it is a different setting than most of her stories. This one is fine for what it is, a light-hearted short story.

This is the first fractured stars book I've read, but I have to say, if the rest are as amusing as this one, I can't wait to read them all.
Great story, funny too, plenty of laught outloud moments. Quite the interesting collection of characters too. I like it.

Miss/Mrs Buroker has again produced an entertaining story. A heroine with Asperger's syndrome, an android who is a dandy and of all things a hunt for stolen maple syrup. I really enjoyed it.

I loved this novella set in the Fallen Empire series!
As always Lindsay Buroker's charachters are super loveable and her storytelling is amazing!
I look forward to the full novel with these charachters!

A short mystery story featuring a private investigator who avoids dealing with people and a foppish android assistant. Part of a series, the story stands on its own. Amusing.
