Aniello "Mr T" Ercole Boxing Manager and Genovese Soldier

Aniello Ercole was a New York cigar maker who became heavily immersed in organized crime activities. In the 1950s he managed fighters including lightweight Pat Marcune. Headlines resulted when New Jersey Governor Harold Hoffman intervened to assist Ercole with carrying a message to an imprisoned Joe Adonis. Hoffman admitted this when he appeared before the NY Crime Commission on December 19, 1952. More
