About Anthony Mbonye

Prof Anthony Mbonye has three decades of experience in being awarded research grants, implementing them, publishing research evidence,and insights into policy-making and health programming.He was the former Director general Ministry of health Uganda .Prof Anthony Mbonye completed his PhD under the Gates Malaria Partnership. He received a Re-entry Grant from the Malaria Capacity Development Consortium (MCDC) for his project Genotyping P. falciparum strains resistant to sulphadoxine-pyrimethamine among pregnant women in Uganda.
