Review by: Ephraim Michael on Jan. 23, 2019 :
"Victims" sounds to me more like a true life story... Igoche picturesque the present day happenings in different parts of Nigeria, most especially in the middle belt, where attacks from Fulani militias against their host is imminent, with the political class taking full advantage of it. Really a nice story, filled with emotional and moral lessons.

Is it a tale of conflict? Or should we call it an original story of exploitation? The Novel 'Victims' by lgoche J Igoche is in my opinion, a unique and gripping merge of these genres.Full of exploitation, hate, revenge and regret, it is a fascinating tale of rural life about the relationship between herdsmen and their host communities and how the lands of these host communities were exploited by government officials, leading to the exasperation of their people.
It centers on the main characters of Habibah and Samaila.Habibah, pregnant, along with her husband and others were gruesomely murdered. Will the people of Botuwaraila sit and fold their hands while this hostility befell them?Find out from this intriguing story.
I would highly recommend this book to all and I challenge you to remain unmoved thereafter.
