There's a lot going on with this story. There's love, a rebellious daughter, drugs, sex (there are a couple of fairly graphic descriptions) an underlying theme of religion, friendship and unlikely hero that I didn't expect. It's a wonderful story and it's written in the voice of the character which adds to the appeal.

The way the story ends seemed sudden which makes me wonder if it was designed to be continued as a series.

I enjoyed this book/story very much.

A good short story is hard to find, but this one is excellent.

Simply a great story. The story moves fairly quick, but you're not disappointed with it. The story is unfinished, and it leaves you wanting way more, so I can't wait to read what happens with the main character. There are definitely some erotic moments in this story, but they're not overbearing which helps to make it very appealing as a Christian Romance. If you want a good mix of reality, love, romance, sex, some religious tones, and how life can be challenging and rewarding then you will love this story.

I have to give it five stars because the author's style is incredibly unique, and like the other review says: it pulls you in and keeps you invested in the story.

Amazing writer!

It's Amazing how this author can pull you into a story so quickly and keep you invested in it. "Carried Away" has so much appeal built into it with the theme and the situations, and the author does a great job of twisting up the plot, but not so much to where you feel lost. I like the erotic elements that are added and the romantic situation that the lead character has. Overall the story flows good, there is a lot of detail the characters are developed well and the story itself is one of the best I've read. (The story is unfinished-bummer-, but having read this author's previous work, I know the story will be completed to perfection.)
