About SJ. Turner

“Screw what they think! Write what you feel – Bleed onto the pages.”
SJ. Turner developed her own love for literature at an early age. Have read many books over the years, the first novel to truly have an impact on her was ‘To Kill a Mocking Bird’ by Harper Lee.

“From that moment on, books changed for me. I realized there was a new and exciting adventure to be found each time I flipped open the cover of a new book.”

Graduating from the Law Clerk program at Durham College in 1994, she worked for a well-known law firm in Toronto, ON for a short time.

Overworked and underpaid, she took a position with one of the largest print directories in North America. By 2006, the corporation opened a new subsidiary location in Victoria, BC and she relocated to the new office to continue her career as an account executive for the next nine years before finally returning home to Ontario in 2015.

Originally writing merely to amuse herself and her friends, she posted ‘Contracted To Mr Collins’ along with the sequel ‘COMMITMENT: Collins vs. Collins’ to an online publishing site and was amazed by the results. Within the first fourteen days online, over 60,000 copies had been downloaded.

It was quickly decided to move forward with self-publishing the novel was a must.
