James "Jimmy the Sniff" Vintaloro Lucchese Family Soldier

James Vintaloro was a Mafia soldier in the syndicate family of Gaetano Lucchese. "Jimmy the Sniff" acquired his nickname from a nervous habit of drawing breaths in short sniffs through his nostrils. Vintaloro was active as a Mafioso in the Bronx, Westchester County and Putnam, NY. He is recorded as a member of the Lucchese family as late as July 1972.
