Christel E. Hoverkamp was born in Berlin, Germany. After fleeing Germany, she moved to the United States. Her subsequent travels have led her to reside in England, Indonesia, Norway, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Ms. Hoverkamp deeply loves her family and friends. Her interests include writing, fishing, golf, tennis, gardening, practicing speaking German, Indonesian, Arabic and most recently, Chinese.

She now resides in Florida with her husband, Peter.
