A very engaging and fast read, the plot was captivating and streamlined. There was very nice suspense especially in the later chapters. Well done!

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. I don't often come across first person narrated stories that I like, but this interested me. It gave insight into how the main character (a dark wizard) thinks, and why he does what he does.

I liked the setting of New York City, and how the events could take place there while still retaining the magical elements of the story and not making it too mundane.

The suspense was built up throughout the book quite well, and many elements of the plot tied in with each other. As the story progressed I could see what motivated the main characters, and why their personalities were the way they are.

Overall the main character (Zinny) and the Ice Queen (Eleanora) shared difficult and troubling pasts, which explained their strong wills and ambitions, but discovering their pasts made me care and hope that a good end would come to the story.
