About Sherri Cornelius

I think of myself as a student of life. Over the years I've learned how to fix a car, butcher a rabbit, knit, make soap, swing a hammer and, obviously, publish a book. But being a student of life doesn't translate into dollars the way a formal education can, so I've gone back to college to finish that 20-years-unfinished degree. Along with classes I juggle the same things many of us do--family, job and finding a creative outlet. Working in a library where other people's dreams sit on every shelf renews my inspiration.

If you only read one lovely and creepy talking action figure romance story this year, this had better be the one. Funny, touching, disturbing, and more than just a little bit awesome, this tale makes me wish that I had a little ninja in my toy box as well.

Pardon as I swoon.

Mon Petit Ami tells a dark, twisted, funny tale about a desperate housewife spiraling into madness. Or... is she? It's the sort of story that will make you laugh and squirm in all the right ways, and you might never look at your kids' toys the same way again.
