About Roxanne Sancto

Hello Everyone,

My name is Roxanne Sancto and I am the co-Author of "The Pink Boots" with Martin Tarte.

I graduated from The London School of Journalism with an Honours Diploma in Music/Arts Feature Writing.

Since then I've been writing features, interviews and press kits from all over the world. Although I love writing about the true classics in Rock History and would love to interview the likes of Roger Waters, Keith Richards and Grace Slick, my main focus is on unsigned bands and artists ready to be introduced to the world. I am excited by new discoveries in the world of music and it gives me great satisfaction to be part of spreading the word about these talents.
I'm a Music Addict and very proud of it. My dream is to establish myself as a writer of Biographies.I literally inhale any biography I can get my hands on - even if it's people I've never heard of in my life or genuinely dislike.

Next to music, my main passion in life is writing in any shape or form. Being a young broke writer, I have prostituted myself to the industry, writing about anything you can possibly imagine - from Erotica to Product Descriptions, from lame Newsletters to The New Revolution in Eco Diapers- and I actually enjoy it too!

Now that "The Pink Boots" are well on the road, I am working on my second novel, "Jenny Blaze and her friendly Therapists".
"Jenny Blaze and her friendly Therapists", is a story about an emotionally retarded but strangely lovable young girl and the strange characters she meets along her way, somehow confirming her feelings and thoughts about this world and the people in it. Some of these personalities are so vague, it is unclear whether they actually exist in this reality or in her own. Never mind her random meetings with Kurt Cobain. Sexually explicit and disgustingly twisted, this is a unique exploration of a disturbed young woman's inner self.

Next to that I am working on a children's book with Gibraltarian Cartoonist Damian Muscat, named "The Adventures of Kyle the Kid and Tessa the Party Animal".
This tells the story of Kyle the Kid and his fury friends Spotty the Spotless Dalmatian, Willy the Wimp. Rocko Rotten the Rotweiler, etc., accompanied with funny and colorful illustrations by Damian. Their adventures take place in the peculiar village of Sun-No-Shine, where nothing seems quite right and the sky has the strangest colors. The stories are aimed at children from seven onwards.
