Cass Barnes is a lesbian that has been a gay rights activist since the first Pride parade on the near north side of Chicago. She has lived in Alaska, Los Angeles, Chapel Hill, Charlottesville, Missouri, W. Virginia, Boston and a few communes here and there. She writes about her many adventures. Presently, she lives and writes her novels and poetry in northern Maine overlooking Quebec (which you can see from any elevation) and New Brunswick. She is an amateur photographer and contributes to a few Third World animal rescues.
She graduated magna cum laude in Sociology from Boston University and attended Harvard for graduate school. When not writing, she relaxes with a little jazz keyboard.
