A beautifully written, very readable, account of the author's inspirational journey. A must read for anyone who has experienced trauma but provides a reminder to all readers to be open to connect to the spiritual clues we receive on our life’s journey. Also valuable as one woman’s perspective regarding the evolution of the country’s health care system with respect to trauma survivors and those who provide treatment to the survivors. A very worthwhile read.

This book is breathtaking, fascinating, exhausting and inspiring. The author freely and honestly shares details of her life experiences which are sure to give others in similar circumstances some hope, and presence of mind, to keep walking toward health and freedom. It is written with a positive, pragmatic, undying spirit that always reaches for the answers and for life. And Life sends her Helpers all along the way to bring her home. Amazingly, even in the toughest situations, she keeps looking and listening for how she can give to others. This book is a gift.
